Turkey Chilli

Well, since my chicken curry recipe a few weeks ago I thought I would try another slow cooker dish.  Enter this chili – it was EXTREMELY easy to make and smelt great as it simmered all day long in the kitchen.

Seriously it was easy – you need to try this.

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch ground allspice
  • salt to taste

  1.  Cook the ground turkey over medium heat for 7-10 minutes.
  2. Grease the inside of the slow cooker with some cooking spray, and add all of the above ingredients and stir well
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours
